Purpose Avenue vehicles must be returned in the condition it was rented; clean, with a full tank of gas. These are PARC policies, along with NO SMOKING. We understand things happen, but fees will be applied for smoking, damages, excessive dirtiness, visible spills, and/or excessive sand. Also, please do not leave the windows down while the vehicle is unattended.

Do you rent your cars on Turo?

Yes, Purpose Avenue cars can be rented on Turo, however, Turo upcharges our vehicles. We do not have control over the rental pricing on that platform. Discounts and policies vary.

What are your sanitation practices?

All our cars are thoroughly disinfected after each trip. High-touch areas such as the steering wheel, door handles, trunk latch, and driving controls in particular, are sanitized with redundancy and germ killing disinfectants.

What is the minimum and maximum age required to rent a vehicle?

The minimum age is 18, however, guests under 21 will incur a $50 Underage Booking Fee per trip. There is no max age (within reason).

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer 10% off 7-day rentals; and 25% off a 30-day rental; and our Special Long Term Rentals (2+ months) Package.

Do you offer any promotions?

Yes, we offer free-day promotions in addition to our discounts!

With Purpose Avenue, guests can get 1 free day on a 2-week (14-day) rental and 3 days free days on 1-month (30-day) rentals.

What's included in the Long Term Rental Special and does it HAVE to be 60 days or more?

Yes, the Long Term Rental Special is a minimum of 2 months (60 days) and a maximum of 6 months (180 days). The Package includes unlimited miles, regular maintenance, a weekly car wash, and insurance coverage. This Special can be paid 30 days at a time or weekly. If paid 30 days at a time, an additional $100 discount will be deducted from each 30-day total. No other discounts or promotions are valid with the Long Term Rental Special.

The included weekly Tallahassee or Lakeland car wash is at a designated Car Wash location. The address will be disclosed after Package purchase.

Covered maintenance consist of oil changes and regular wear and tear tire issues ONLY.

What is the shortest and longest rental duration allowed?

We have a 3-day minimum for our rentals. There is no maximum, a guest may rent our vehicle for as long as they wish.

Is there a required interval between bookings?

Purpose Avenue must have a 1-hour advance notice for vehicle requests. We require a 3-hour buffer between trips. The Long Term Rental Special requires a 3-hour waiting period after booking for insurance policy generation.

How are sales tax, coupons, and additional fees applied?

The state of Florida’s standard 6% sales tax is applied to each booking. Discounts and applicable fees are applied automatically upon checkout.

How many miles are included with the rental?

Each vehicle includes 200 miles per day. There is an individual rate charged per vehicle for every mile over the total miles included for the trip.

What are the charges for exceeding the included mileage?

Sienna - $0.36;

Corolla - $0.29;

Lexus - $0.38;

Prius - $0.33

What are your standard business hours?

Our standard business hours are 9 am to 9 pm ET Monday - Friday, however, a renter may rent and pickup/drop-off a car unassisted 24/7.

What are the allowed pick-up and return times?

A renter may rent and pickup/drop-off a car unassisted 24/7. If your trip requires pickup/drop-off assistance, you must wait until our standard hours of operation..

What delivery locations do you offer, and what are the fees for each?

Purpose Avenue has standard pickup/drop-off locations. The one delivery location we offer is in Tallahassee, FL at the airport. The fee is $50 roundtrip.

Is there a specific schedule for custom deliveries?

Purpose Avenue does not accommodate custom deliveries.

What is the cost for an additional driver?

There is no cost for an additional driver of age. If the additional driver is under the age of 21, there is a $25 fee, along with the Underage Fee.

What happens if I don’t have time to refill the gas or only fill it to half a tank?

If a car is returned with the gas not on full, no problem, we will fill it, bill for the receipt amount, plus a $10 convenience fee.

What are the penalties for returning a vehicle late?

We understand sometimes running late is unavoidable, this is why we give our guests a 30 min grace period. After 30 min, we charge a $10 late fee per half-hour until the car is returned.

What happens if I return the car to a location other than the approved pickup/drop-off location?

If a Guest returns a Purpose Avenue car to an unapproved location, there will be a $100 fee.

What are the penalties or fees for smoking in the vehicle?

There is absolutely no smoking in any Purpose Avenue vehicle. 🚭. Non-smokers can smell the remnants of a smoker immediately and automatically! We will charge a $150 odor removal/deodorization fee for any instance of smoking in our vehicles. The only "proof" required is the smell. DO NOT SMOKE IN OUR VEHICLES!

Are there any fees associated with EZ Pass or toll usage?

Our vehicles are equipped with the Florida Sunpass. Any tolls incurred will be billed no later than 90 days post trip. There is no extra charge associated with using our FL Sunpass.

Is there a cleaning fee? Under what conditions is it charged?

A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty or for visible spills. In addition, excessive sand and/or pet hair will incur a $50 cleaning fee.
